Ed Gardner

Ed Gardner, 58, born April 19, 1956, lost his battle with cancer when he passed away peacefully in his wife’s arms on June 4, 2014. Ed was a 1974 graduate of Norton High School and a 1979 graduate of the University of Akron. Ed worked as a hydraulic salesman for the Stanley M. Proctor Company in Twinsburg for 35 years. In November 1988, Ed married Hope (Chambers), and together they raised their two children, Dana and Eric, in a home full of love and laughter. Ed is also survived by his brother, Pete (Becky) of Ashtabula, Ohio, and was preceded in death by his parents, Lois and Bob.

A heartfelt thank you goes to the wonderful people at Seidman Cancer Center in Wadsworth and Hospice of Medina County. Memorial donations may be made to HMC Hospice of Medina County 5075 Windfall Rd Medina, Ohio 44256.

Private services will be held for the immediate family. In lieu of flowers, and in Ed’s honor, go have a drink with a buddy.
