RICHARD CHRISTOPHER KOPAC., age 45, passed way Saturday September 23rd, 2017. Rich was born on October 21, 1971 in Parma, OH to the late Richard Edmund Kopac and Kathlyn Pearl Kopac (Breyley). He is survived by his sister Lisa Ann Tuma (Kopac), nieces Paige Elyse Parker (Tuma) and Julia Danielle Tuma, as well as two great nephews Lucas Andrew Parker and Finn Beckett Parker. Rich had a large extended family and many friends who loved him. With a vast variety of interests throughout his life, Rich was known for his amazing knowledge base and ability to give sound advice. He studied automotive trades at Normandy High School then went on to college at Bryant and Stratton for computer technology. He was a Sheet Metal worker with Union Local #33 and excelled in the heating and cooling trade. Like his dad before him, Rich could fix just about anything. He enjoyed playing darts and was on leagues during his younger years. Recently, he was declared the family “Corn Hole King”. Fishing was a favorite past time and he was a fan of Motown, but fireworks were his specialty. Rich, affectionately called “Uncle Chi Chi”, also loved spending time with his two great nephews, teaching Lucas how to use his tools and sharing tasty treats with Finn. Rich will be honored in a private memorial with his family. Condolences can be sent to family at 7219 Normandy Drive, Parma, OH 44134.

    It is with great sadness that I came upon this news. An emptiness has overcome me. I will truly miss this amazing person!!! I deepest sympathy to his family.
