Richard “Deacon” DeConcini, 88, passed away December 11, 2014. Beloved husband of Margaret for 61 years. Cherished father of Damon, Dianne Ickes (Curtis), Dawn DeConcini (Paul Dellisanti) and Drew (Patricia). Loving grandfather of 5. Deacon was a proud WWII Navy Veteran. His love of the sea began as he served aboard submarines from 1943-1947. He witnessed the signing of the Japanese surrender. After his return from the service he attended Penn State University. Retired from Ford Motor Co. Lorain after 32 years. He also loved gardening, cooking and playing cards. Per his request, ALL SERVICES PRIVATE.     I’m Richard’s (from Keystone Pointe) daughter. I was very sorry to see your Dad passed. I know you said it would be soon but it’s never easy. You and your family will be in my thoughts and prayers. God bless you. I’ll miss talking to you at Keystone. Also, thanks for stopping in to chat with my dad.
