Crystal – President and Licensed Funeral Director

My name is Crystal and I am the President at Cleveland Cremation.  A bit about my background and experience – I am a graduate of Baldwin-Wallace College. I have my bachelors in Business Administration with a minor in Communications.  After college and a few corporate jobs, I decided to pursue my MBA in Accounting at Case Western Reserve University Weatherhead School of Management.

I married into a family that has been in the funeral industry for 60 years. After being involved in the family business for a few years,  I decided to become a Licensed Funeral Director and explore different options within the funeral industry. Making sure families are able to express their vision of a meaningful goodbye to their loved one is extremely important to me.

I believe that people are looking for options when it comes to saying goodbye to a loved one. Whether it is for personal reasons, economic reasons, financial reasons, etc., more and more families are choosing cremation. At Cleveland Cremation, we embraced these opportunities and seek out ways to serve your family’s wants and needs.

Karen – Licensed Funeral Director

My name is Karen and I am a licensed funeral director and embalmer at Cleveland Cremation.

I obtained a bachelor’s degree in Mortuary Science and an associate’s degree in Applied Science from Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science.

What I enjoy most about funeral directing is meeting with each family and helping them during what may be hardest time of their life. I believe it is important to care and look-after each family with great compassion and kindness. My hope as a funeral director is to help families create a meaningful tribute to their loved one.

Katy – Family Planning Specialist
My Name is Katy. I joined the Cleveland Cremation staff in February 2013. As an apprentice funeral director and embalmer, I enjoy meeting with families and discovering their story.

I obtained my associates degree from the Cincinnati college of mortuary science in the Spring of 2012.

As a Baldwin Wallace alumni, with a bachelors in marketing, I am no stranger to the Cleveland. I look forward to serving families of Strongsville and surrounding area.

Having experienced the loss of several family members, I have chosen the funeral industry to give back and help others with the same compassion and care my family has received.  It is an honor to serve folks of the Cleveland area and surrounding suburbs.
