John T. Peacock

John "Jack" Thomas Peacock age 77, was born on September 11, 1943, in St Clair, Michigan to Clarence and Catherine Peacock and was raised in Griffith, Indiana along with his 6 siblings. He was preceded in death by his parents Clarence E Peacock and Catherine M Thwaites (Peacock), Alice Hammel (Peacock) (Sister), Robert C Peacock (Brother) and Sharon S Peters (Peacock) (Mother of Children). He was survived in passing by his former wife Ann (Moore) Peacock and current wife Svetlana (Kust) Peacock, his siblings; Janice (Peacock) Flanigan (Ray), Kathy (Peacock) Piefer, Marilyn (Peacock) Plomann, Clarence Peacock (Cindy), his children; Robert Peacock (Lisa), Wendi (Peacock) Strodtbeck (William), Curt Peacock, Lana (Peacock) Sabo (Jeff), and step children Michael Moore, Scott (Beau) Moore and Julia Kust (Sergey) then his grandchildren; Tanya Peacock, Morgan (Peacock) Newkirk (Anthony), Heather (Sabo) Ashby (Chris), Kristopher Peacock, Ashley (Kearsey) Horton (Jonathon), Melanie Peacock, Lauren Strodtbeck, Alecia Kearsey, Ryan Strodtbeck (Emily), Caz Sabo and 8 Great Grand-children. After graduating Griffith High School in 1961 he joined the Air Force and was discharged and joined the Griffith Police Department in 1967, in 1971 he enlisted in the Coast Guard and gave 31 years of his life to reserves and active duty and the last few years he was Master Chief of the Coast Guard in Cape May, New Jersey giving his wisdom and expertise as a training officer. After retiring in the Coast Guard he was then a Captain on a boat that traveled along the Mississippi River, The Great Lakes and the Gulf of Mexico for 17 years. He enjoyed visting Gulf Shores, horses, golfing and fishing. He had a deep love and interest in old western movies and history along with being an avid world traveler enjoying EVERY aspect of the world that it had to offer. Even though he was a traveling man, he never stopped loving his family and being part of their lives and had the greatest admiration for all his families accomplishments and achievements. A Funeral Service will be held on July 29th 2021 at 10:30AM in St. Paschal\'s Church, 5384 Wilson Mills Road, Highland Heights, OH 44143; with a Visitation from 10:00AM till the time of Mass.
