Kelly M. Jones

Kelly Marie Jones, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family, Saturday, September 13, 2025, after a short battle with cancer. Born on April 30, 1964, in Elyria, Ohio, she was the daughter of the late Janice Marie Jones and Doyle Richard Jones both of LaGrange. Kelly's life was a testament to the love she had for her family. She was a proud and devoted mother to her four children, Amber Flowers and partner Anthony Moore, Krysa Flowers, Brady Flowers and his wife Sydney, and Brook Flowers. Her children were her greatest source of pride. Her grandson, Jaxtyn Sardis, was the love of her life, a beacon of joy that brightened her every day. Kelly is also survived by her brother, Dean Jones and his wife Pam, and her sister, Lorie (Jones) Gorretta and her husband Paul. Her nieces and nephews, Lisa Jones, Jeff Jones, Anthony Huffman, Jake Gorretta, Janis Gorretta, Karen Ratajczak, and Kurtis Gorretta, will remember their aunt's adventurous spirit and loving heart. A 1982 graduate of Keystone High School, Kelly carried the spirit of her education throughout her life, always eager to learn and grow. Her career as a CNC operator was more than just a job, it was a place where she found great satisfaction in her work. Kelly's interests were as diverse as they were passionate. She was an avid lover of arts and crafts, finding joy in creating beauty with her hands. Her love for the outdoors was evident in her enjoyment of fishing, attending Renaissance fairs, and gardening. Kelly was also an enthusiastic golfer, a beachgoer, and a dedicated fan of the Cleveland Indians. Her adventurous spirit even led her to the sky, where she experienced the thrill of skydiving. Family game and movie nights were a cherished tradition, where her incredible sense of humor and love of creating memories shone brightly. Those who knew Kelly will remember her for her adventurous nature, her thoughtful gestures, and her loving demeanor. She had the unique ability to find value in everything and everyone, always putting her own touch on the world around her. Her big heart extended beyond her family, as she was always ready to help others before herself. Kelly’s legacy will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know her. She will be deeply missed but forever remembered as a woman who embraced life with open arms and left an indelible mark on the hearts of many. A Celebration of Life will be held at Saint Andrews Reformed Presbyterian Church, 114 Union Street in LaGrange, Ohio on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at 2:00 PM. All family and friends of Kelly are welcome to attend.
