William (shakey) Sotos,84, born November 01, 1931 passed away May 11, 2016 at home with his family by his side. Beloved husband of Alice M. (Nee Misiak) for 57 ½ years. Best funniest father (scuzamundo) in the world to Nicholas G. and Valerie R. O’Malley (Jim). Greatest Papa to James C. (goobers) O’Malley, Samantha J. (sam-a-lam)  & Carson N.(biscuit) Sotos.

Brother of Jean Farkas (Jake) Glenna Swann (all deceased). Nicolett Tremaglio (Bert) Sandra Hines (Willard) deceased, Helen Sotos.  Son of the late Ether Minute nee Simemerly) & Nicholas Sotos. Loving uncle to many.

Bill really enjoyed traveling, yard sales in Ohio & Florida, replica gun collecting and dabbling in politics. He loved endless trips to Florida to spend time with his son Nick. He was a real hands on Papa and enjoyed making his grandchildren laugh & taking them everywhere.  He always enjoyed his annual trip to the Daytona flea Market with his Kupie doll Valerie. Most of all he lived for traveling everywhere and shopping with his beloved wife Alice. He looked forward to their daily rides in the metro parks where they were engaged 59 years ago.

Bill was a very humorous guy who made us laugh daily and he will be missed tremendously by all.

A Mercy Meal will be held June 25 from 2 – 4 PM at the Jardine Funeral Home Gathering Room (South Side Enterence), 15822 Pearl Road, Strongsville 44136 to celebrate his life.

I was sadden to read Bill’s Obit.
I knew Bill for over 30years when
we both worked for General Motors. He was a very laid back person. Bill always had something
funny to say, but he got along with everybody. I just wish I would have seen him one more time before he passed. Anyway he will be going up to a better place. May he rest in peace.

    Tom
