Christopher Paul “Chris” Spears 56, born April, 28, 1964 and suddenly passed away February 10, 2021 in his sleep. He was born in Lincoln County West Virginia to Mother Gloria Lovejoy and Father Charles Spears (deceased) but was raised by Gloria and Gene Lovejoy (Dad). He was raised in Cleveland, Ohio and for the last 2 years until his passing a resident of Elyria, Ohio.

He was a proud member of Fellowship Baptist Church until his passing, and had a profession faith that Jesus Christ was his Lord and Saviour.

Chris was married to his wife Tammy Spears (née Slagle) for 39 years and leaves behind his children Shaun (Stephanie) Spears, Jessica (Freeman) Fitzwater, Bobby James “BJ” Spears (Deceased), Tommy (Jackie) Spears, and Justin (Katy) Spears. He also leaves behind his 13 Grandchildren Paige (Raymond) Ramirez, Paidin, Aden, Shaun Carter, Paisley, JasonMichael, Harley, Anthony, Bennett, Hailey, Rylee, Jackson, and Alliana as well as 1 great grandchild Luka.

There will not be any funeral services, but if you would like to send flowers or make a donations to his wife Tammy, you may contact the family.

    I miss this man so much he was my lifr when you seen one you seen us both as husband and wife we had our uos and downs but one thing i can say we loved each other so much we were peanut butter and jelly we went together honey i miss you more and more everyday until we meet again love you honey tammy jo

    My PawPaw was remarkable. He was truly one of a kind, and he had one of the biggest hearts in the whole world. He was a musician and even when he started losing his voice, he still influenced and helped others. He was also very honest, a lot of times, brutally. He could make you laugh like crazy and make you love him no matter what, always unconditionally. I miss you PawPaw, I know you’re no longer in pain and that makes me happy. Life is just not the same without you. I love you more than words will ever say.

    My heart goes out to my sister and her family. Chris has been a part if my life for 40 years we had a special relationship no one understood and we liked it that way. We had a lot of ups and downs but he was a brother not a brother in law. He was a funny person who loved his kids and grandkids and his first great grandson. I oray that God wraps his arms around his family to give them peace comfort and strength. Rest in peace Chris love you brother
