Carolyn Sue Ryder, 72, of Parma Ohio passed away May 7, 2022. She was born July 1, 1949 in Charleston West Virginia. She is survived by her significant other of 42 years Nelson gandarilla, two childern Tammy and Richard Ryder, three grandchildern Jonathon, Hannah, Brian and great granddaughter Briella as well as brother Ronald and wife Connie of indore and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by parents Manuel and Christine Lay, brothers Morris and Miles as well as sister Dorris.

Carolyn was a loving partner, mother, grandmother, sister and friend. She worked more than 20 years for Cuyahoga County. In her free time she enjoyed cooking and baking for friends and family as well as gardening and loved spending time with family and friends as much as possible. She will be greatly missed by all.

A Memorial and Celebration of Carolyn’s life will be held on Tuesday, May 17, 2022 at YURCH FUNERAL HOME, 5618 Broadview Road, Parma, Ohio 44134 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:45 p.m.

    1 year ago today you left us and went to heaven My heart is still breaking over losing you . I miss you so much Mom . Not a day goes by that I don’t think about you and wish you were still here with us. But God had other plans for you. He needed another angel and he took you .     Carolyn,I will forever love and miss you dearly,we have be friends for over 55 years .and I will never forget our times together, I will always remember all the good times we had together,and your straight forward answers and not being afraid to say it the way you seen it even sometime using you cuss words I LOVE YOU MY FRIEND

    I am so sorry for our lost of a wonderful human being. Carolyn wasn’t my biological mother, however she would tell you I was and Tammy and Richard is my brother and sister. She always had a way of showing her love for us and letting us know through her smiles, words and actions. I know she is in heaven and looking down on us and only wishing the best.
