Deborah P. Fedarko-Sherry

SHERRY DEBORAH

Deborah P. “Bud” Fedarko-Sherry, 54, of Brunswick, Ohio passed away on December 15, 2020 with her beloved daughters by her side. She was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio where she played tennis and cheered for Wilbur Wright Jr. High School. Much of her childhood was spent enjoying time with her family, especially her 3 siblings. Some of her fondest memories were the days playing kickball with the neighborhood kids, trips to Pennsylvania and Niagara Falls, and family dinner every Sunday at her Grandpa and Grandma Naglic’s house. In her early teens, the family moved to Lakewood, Ohio where Debbie attended Lakewood High School. As she got older, she spent much of her time on various softball, dart, and bowling leagues with her closest friends. Most recently, she had loved reading, gardening, walking her dogs Max & Mia, spoiling her first grandbaby, Gio, and spending every moment possible with her family.

Debbie was a genuine, beautiful soul that loved and protected her family endlessly. She was known by many for her lighthearted humor, and constant need to help others.

Debbie will be greatly missed and forever remembered by her fiancé: William Scott; children: Krystal Lanzara (Anthony), Rachael Niemer (Joshua), and Sydney Sherry; stepchildren: Megan and Matthew Scott; grandchild: Giovanni “Gio” Lanzara; siblings: Joseph Fedarko III (Carol), Diane Fedarko, and Janet Kelly (Billy); and many nieces, nephews, close friends, and extended family. Debbie was welcomed to heaven by her father, Joseph E. Fedarko Jr, and mother, Patricia Mae Fedarko (nee Naglic).

In keeping with the wishes of Deborah, services will remain private for the immediate family.

In lieu of flowers, the family is asking for donations to be sent in Debbie’s honor to Laura’s Home Women’s Crisis Center: https://www.thecitymission.org/honors-memorials/  (the organization accepts both monetary and material donations – please see their website for more information).

“We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name,
In life we loved you dearly; in death we do the same
It broke our hearts to lose you, you did not go alone.
For part of us went with you, the day God called you home
You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide,
And though we cannot see you, you are always at our side
Our family chain is broken, and nothing seems the same,
But as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again.”

“It’s not goodbye, it’s see you later”
