Elizabeth “Betsy” Ann Csiszar (nee Hejny) of Cleveland, Ohio died peacefully at home February 8, 2020.

Betsy was born on September 11, 1954. Betsy was preceded in death by her Father Richard Hejny, Mother Patricia Hejny, Brother Benjamin Hejny, and brother Nicholas Hejny. She is survived by her two sons Damien (Celeste) Csiszar, Zane (Deborah) Csiszar. Her grandchildren Skylar and Nathan Csiszar. Her sister and best friend Kim (Steve) Stewert, Brothers Richard (Dee) Hejny, Johnathan (Lacey) Hejny, Joseph Hejny, and Paul (Marlena) Hejny. Many cousins, nieces, and nephews who she loved dearly.

Betsy had a smile that could light up a room. She had a colorful sense of humor and was often making others laugh. Betsy had the strength of one thousand lions and an inconceivable will to survive that was witnessed by many in her final years. As a Mother Betsy’s boys were her world. Betsy loved her boys and her family. She enjoyed spending time with family and sharing her love of cooking and baking with them. An animal enthusiast Betsy, had many dogs, cats, and birds she loved over the years, including her most recent dogs Zeus and Murphy. Betsy enjoyed listening to music and thrifting in her free time. She found serenity in traveling to the ocean and collected lighthouses and seashells. She took great pride in her work as an office manager. Betsy prided herself on being a better cement finisher than her father and her brothers. By the excellence of her work no one could disagree with her. Betsy filled all of our hearts with great joy. We can only imagine her dream has come true and she is reunited with loved ones sailing free on the Betsy Ann.

An honor to become close to Betsy and share our life journeys. Betsy had a great sense of humor, loved her family, her strength was astounding. I admired her will to do things her way. Never through her last journey did I ever hear her complain. Truly a golden girl. Till we meet again
