Fred Salem

Fred “Nigel” Salem was Born in Cleveland, OH to Maria (Marcia) Saleem and Toffic (Tony) Saleem and passed away September 6, 2020 at the age of 86.

Loving father to Lisa A. Hull Pavkovich (Gregory) and Loving Grandfather to Bradley A. Hull, and Gage Coleman Hull. Loving and Caring Stepfather to Anthony John DiBrino.
Fred grew up working in the Family Restaurant in downtown Cleveland. Fred then went into the Navy from 1951 to 1955 and then transferred to the Navy Reserves until 1959. He attended Fenn College while working for R. A. Klinger as a laborer and Advanced to Vice President and a short time. Fred started his own Company Salem Builders in Chagrin Falls. He went onto Ruhlin Construction Company as a very successful Vice President of Engineering.  He had a love for Thoroughbred Horses and had owned and raced many. With many time’s being spent in the Winners Circle with his family. He had a special passion for Golf.
He resided for the last 35 years of his life in the Canton/Massillon area.
He was a middle sibling. Oldest brother Thomas Salem (Dorothy); Nieces Kelle Taha, Beth Belmonte, and Jennifer Quellos; Youngest brother Richard (Jackie) Salem and nephews Tony Salem and David Salem.
Fred was a man who could solely accomplish anything.
I will miss you Daddy!

    I am not sure what to say in the face of such a difficult time, He was definitely one of a kind. He may be physically gone but your memories are forever! Just know ,I care about you , and share in your sadness. Prayers for peace and comfort.
