Georgia J. Bukvic

Georgia Jean Bukvic (nee Polesky), 66, passed away in her Lakewood apartment following a brief illness on February 23, 2016. Georgia Jean Bukvic was preceded in death by her loving parents George and Helen (nee Borek) Polesky. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law James M. and Tracy R. Bukvic and her daughter and son-in-law Jennifer (Bukvic) and Craig Bobeck; and grandchildren Nicholas M. Bukvic and Olivia J. Bobeck. She is also survived by her sisters Leslie (Polesky) Miller, Paulette (Polesky) and Louis Shuster and many nieces and nephews.

Born February 25, 1949, Georgia would have celebrated her 67th birthday. She graduated from Valley Forge High School in Parma, OH, class of 1967. She was a longtime dedicated employee of Hudson Group at the Cleveland-Hopkins Airport in Cleveland, OH, in which she continued to work up until her passing.

Georgia was a loving mother, grandmother and sister. She had a generous and giving heart and deeply touched the lives of her family, friends and neighbors in her apartment building. She will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

Catholic mass and memorial will be held at 9:00 a.m. on March 12th, 2016 at St. John Neumann Catholic Church in Strongsville, OH.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested donations to Lakewood Animal Shelter in Georgia Jean Bukvic’s name.
