Harry E. Schramm, 54, passed away in the middle of the night at Southwest Hospital on Saturday, December 5, 2020 from a long battle with liver disease but ultimately his demise was due to pneumonia and COVID.

Harry is predeceased by his mother, Maria, and his brother, Peter.

Harry is survived by his twin daughters, Erika Schramm (Norris) and her husband Thomas, and Dawn Schramm (Lesher) and her husband Ryan; his grandchildren Cove, Aurora, Atlas, and Nova; his nieces and nephews and many friends.

In addition to spending time with his family and friends, Harry enjoyed soccer, fishing, motorcycles, watching football, music, and was a longstanding member of the Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center. Harry was the owner/operator of a stump grinding business (uniquely named) Stumpy Beaver.

A celebration of life will be planned in lieu of a funeral during the summer due to COVID restrictions leaving visitations limited. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to Donauschwaben German-American Cultural Center in Harry’s name at 7370 Columbia Rd, Olmsted Falls, OH 44138

    I just found out about Harry’s passing. What a great guy he was. In the late 80s he used to pick me up for band practice, everytime, because I didn’t have a car. We played some gigs together as well. Thanks for the great memories!!!

    Harry was one of my best friends. He was fantastic soccer player, bass player, and great friend. The times I spent with Harry are some of most memorable and happiest days of my younger life. I will keep you in my heart and soul forever. Miss you buddy and I love you like a brother.
