  6. Andrew Ryan says:

While I will not be able to attend the service on the 7th, I wanted to extend my wife and I’s deepest condolences to James’ family.

My wife and I worked with James for a few years . I remember when we worked at McDonald’s, him and I both hated that place beyond belief. Yet, we relished the fact that we hated it so much and made the most fun out of it that we could. James opened up the store in the mornings, and I came in shortly after. A lot of people there didn’t give James the respect he deserved, but he didn’t let that eradicate his kindness and humor.

After he stopped working at McDonald’s (as did I), I used to see him at the W. Ridgewood Walmart every time I went in. He always had something to say to immediately bring a smile to your face. Every time I went to Walmart, I saw him there. Even when you could tell he was having a rough day, he still managed to smile and bring the laughter out of you.

It is heartbreaking to see him leave this earth. About a week or two ago, I saw him at Walmart working, but I didn’t get a chance to talk to him since he looked busy. While I wish I could’ve chatted with him one last time, there’s a bigger part of me that relishes in the fact that I know James is probably making whomever he is surrounding himself laugh their ass off on the other side.

I am so sorry for your loss. May his memory be honored and remembered forever.
