Janet M. Jones

Janet M. Jones, passed away on Sunday, November 7, 2021.  She was born on October 20, 1954 in Maple Heights, Ohio to Leonard and Mary Allen (both deceased).  She was married for 43 years to Robin C. Jones before his passing in 2015.  She is survived by her son Matthew A Jones, (Michelle), and grandson Marshall, sister Patricia (Fred Lisy), two brothers Jimmy, and Jerry.   An honorable family member and friend Sue Allen.

She was a fun and wonderful wife to Robin, a comforting and innocent mother to Matthew, and a loving and proud grandmother of Marshall.
Oh, that laugh…  So distinct and gravitating for most, she never cared what party poopers thought of her.

    Dear Family,
We were all so saddened by Janet passing. Childhood friend and a life time of stories and laughter. May Janet enjoy the friends that have left this earth and will meet again soon.

  2. Vicki Portfolio says:

    Dear Matthew,
My heart is so sad with yours but also rejoices that Jan is with Jesus in Heaven now. I will always keep your mom close to my heart. Our friendship was 66 years of being THE BEST OF FRIENDS, laughing & crying, and caring for each other whenever it was needed. I’m sure Jan is so happy to be with your dad and her mother again in Heaven. She can be your Guardian Angel now and watch over Marshall, who she absolutely cherished with her whole heart. YOU will forever be her son that she loved. I’m sorry I can’t be at the service. Living in Florida is great, but these are the times that distance is the enemy. I will be there in spirit and love. Praying that GOD will comfort your whole family and give you HIS peace.

  3. Gail (Bouchard) Lynch says:

    Matt, Michelle & Marshall,
We were all saddened to hear of your mom’s passing. She so loved her & Robin’s visits with Uncle Neil & Aunt Mary Helen and my parents loved their company. Your mom was always the first to laugh, and her laugh made you laugh it was so genuine. She had strong feelings about family and we were proud and happy to have her as a part of ours. Your mom, grandma and my parents are up there sitting around a room catching up – and laughing. Take care and God bless.
