Jared P. Beddoes

Beddoes

Jared P. Beddoes, 46, of Westerville Ohio, passed away on April 22 at the Cleveland Clinic following a four-year battle with cancer.

He was born to Ronald and Brenda Beddoes on June 14, 1976. Following high school, Jared married Lana Dotson, his wife of nearly 25 years. Together they have two amazing children, Kaleb (21) and Reese (17). Jared was an extremely talented carpenter who took pride in his work and enjoyed goofing around with his “guys”. He was quiet and patient, but had a sense of humor that everyone loved to be around. His wife and children were his world and he loved spending vacations soaking up the sand, waves, and sun on the beach.

Jared is survived by his mother, Brenda; wife Lana; children Kaleb and Reese; brothers Chris (Julie) Beddoes, Dan (Natalie) Beddoes; sister Breanna Seifert; father/mother in-law Robert and Sharon Dotson; sister in-laws Wendy (Scott) Richards, Kari (Derek) Childs; and nieces and nephews Daniel Beddoes, Samuel (Hayden) Beddoes, Carey Beddoes, Cora Beddoes, Nathanael Beddoes, Clara (Ethan) Hancock, Preston Beddoes, Adalyn Beddoes, Isaac Beddoes, and Andrew Seifert. Jared was proceeded in death by his father Ron, who we know was waiting to greet Jared into his eternal home.

We will miss you Jared and hope you have your toes in the sand!  A celebration of life will be held for family and friends to remember and honor our SUPERMAN. A Facebook event titled “Celebration of Life for Jared P.  Beddoes” has been created to provide more information.

Lana I’m gonna try that size I don’t know if it’ll work or not I have two very dear to my heart memories of watching Jared grow up when the kids were about three and then when I said the kids I mean of all our kids Jared and Amanda are six months apart so they were about three years old and there was an area of Sharonwoods that was newly developed and no one was ever there so Brenda and I that summer Would take the kids at least once a week over to the park area and they could play on this wonderful new jungle. They are jungle gym area. We were spread out quilts all over under the tree right next to it and the kids would play and we would take a picnic lunch and then we would tell them they had to lay down to rest but they were allowed to go to sleep and then eventually of course they did and Brenda and I would just visit and work on crafts and then when they woke up, they play again for a while and then we’d go back home and finish up a half household chores, and Make dinner and half our evenings but those are just some of the most peaceful fun love filled days that I can remember and my second memory is when Ronnie and Jared helped us out that they actually rebuilt him. We could’ve hired them with their no multiple skills and they rebuilt our bathroom air and our master bedroom and our family room and one of my favorite memories was Jared showing me his workmanship on the woodwork that he did in that room, which was just amazing and as the years went by, he grew into quite a talented Carpenter and I couldn’t find a TV stand that I wanted for a bedroom. I knew what I wanted to bend so I called him and talk with him. I went over and I drew kind of of a rough design of what I wanted and I wanted a corner unit that was about 4 1/2 feet high and Heat with shelves so that I could input the VCR than the tapes and all that in them but the TV stand. I wanted it to go in the corner but I didn’t want it to be pointed so we made it so it went towards the corner as if it was going to be pointed and then Jared made the back flat in. That way I could go against another wall someday or wherever else we wanted to put it but it would fit in either place we have that in our bedroom still, and It’s a piece of furniture that we just absolutely treasure and he did such an amazing job. He said I’ll make up you have to stain it. I don’t like to do that so our our son Phillip match the stain and his and his sub paint store and that the stain to our bedroom furniture and we finished it and it was and is one of our treasures and her the memory of Jared making it has made it even more treasured heirloom in our family, and we loved him very very much. We are so happy that you have had the beautiful years that you’ve had together as a family. We love you.

To Lana, Kaleb, Reese, and all of Jared’s family, please accept our deepest sympathy for the loss of your incredible husband, father, and relative. From all the wonderful things that Lana told us about Jared, we know how much he loved everyone around him, and how much was loved in return. We are heartbroken at his passing, but take some small amount of comfort knowing that he was able to spend as much time as possible with those he loved before it was his time to depart. Please know we are here to support you with anything you need. <3

I’m so, so sorry to hear about Jared’s passing – but I, too, believe that he is in a better place. I hope you find comfort in the memories that you’ve shared together, and can focus on being thankful for the time and love that you’ve shared.

Heaven can only send the angels for a little while – they can’t stay as long as the rest of us! You’re incredibly lucky in that you were loved by and fell in love with an angel, and created more in the process!
