Marlene Mae Ritter (nee Oswald) peacefully went to be with the Lord on January 23, 2020.
Marlene was born February 26, 1932. Beloved wife of Warren “Tex” Ritter (deceased). Loving
mother of Maureen Jupina (Mark) and Melanie Jones (Allen). Beloved grandmother of
Matthew Jupina (Heather), Michele Pugh (Chet), Aimee Jupina, Corey Saylor (Alexa),
Allen Jones Jr., Justin Saylor (Jamie), Brianne Saylor (Will), Joshua Jones (Kristie) and great
grandmother of 15. Dear sister of Lois Phan (Gene) and Richard Oswald (Elaine). Dear sister-
in-law of Allen Ritter (deceased)(Margie, deceased), Robert Ritter (deceased) (Nancy),
Ramona Thomas (Clare deceased). Loving aunt to many. She will be missed for her loving,
caring ways, her nicknames for family members and calling family and friends “Toots”. She
loved taking care of her family, home and gardening and attending Harvest Time Church.
Never missed a Cavs, Indians or Browns game! A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday
February 16, 2020 at 3:00pm at Harvest Time Church, 1790 W. 130th Street, Brunswick. After-
wards we will have a Celebration of Life from 5:00-7:00pm at Webers Tavern, 15629 Puritas Ave.
Cleveland, where she enjoyed a Miller Lite and “The best beef barley soup”. In lieu of flowers
donations may be made to South West Hospice, 18659 Drake Rd. Strongsville.

    Dear Maureen & Mark and all of Mom Ritter’s family, my heartfelt condolences on her passing. Please know you are all in my thoughts and heart. I wish I could have been at her service to give you a loving hug and tell you what an awesome lady I thought she was. She was always very kind to me. I will always remember her beautiful smile with the twinkle in her eyes.

    Marlene was a good friend of ours for over 60 yrs. We took many walks together, had coffee together and shared many happy times. ………..she had a very contagious laugh and a wonderful sense of humor. She will be dearly missed. Our deepest sympathy to all the family. Tom and Carol Gould
