Raymond “Red” Drensky

DRENSKY2

Raymond “Red” Drensky, age 94 ¾, passed away December 9, 2015. Beloved husband of Dorothy “Dolly” (deceased) for 67 years. Awesome father of Beth Drensky (Tom Police), Jill Drensky and Jackie Cerny (Dan). Loving grandfather of Taylor, Jensyn, Kendyl, Melanie and Michelle.   Great grandfather of Marisa and Ian. Dear brother of Mildred Kanieski (deceased) and Eugene (deceased). Uncle and friend to many.

Dad was a man of many talents. He was the proud owner of Parma Hardware for many years, but that’s not all. Starting at a young age Dad helped at the family dairy, opened a hamburger joint, ran a gas station, raised black angus and ponies, showed Quarter horses with ‘cutting cattle’ being his favorite venue. Dad loved to dance! Ballroom dancing is where he met Mom. Square dancing became another one of their favorites – he became a square dance caller. Dad was an auctioneer, real estate agent, showed German Sheppards and owned horses that raced at Northfield Park. He was also very proud to serve in the Naval Air Corps. Now just for fun, Dad had antique cars, motorcycles, motor homes and a basement full of pinball machines. He loved to travel, golf and bowl. Dad also loved music – especially Polkas, County Western, Big Band, and of course the dancing that went with each.

Most of all Dad loved his family. We love you Dad. Rest in Peace.

In keeping with the wishes of Red there will be no funeral services.
