Robert Michael Koopman passed away suddenly on January 15, 2019.
Beloved husband of 44 years to Linda (née Schreiber). Cherished father of Sarah, Robert Jr. (Maureen), Katherine Shelman (Corey) and David (Brooke). He was the most adored “Gabby” to his grandchildren Joseph Miller, Grace, Robert III, Miles, Norma, Lucille and Piper Shelman.
Bob is also survived by his brothers and sisters Joseph Jr. (dec.) (MaryAnn), Lucille Dudasch (Albert), Christine Urbancic (Michael), Michael (Libby), Joyce Morgan (David), Mary Toth (Warren, dec.) and Jack.
He was an avid fisherman who’s greatest joy in life was spending a day on the lake with his brothers, children and especially his grandchildren.
Bob was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army and served honorably in Vietnam.
He is once again reunited with his loving parents Joseph and Florence and his brother Joseph Junior.
Mass will be held Saturday January 26, 2019 at 11 AM at Saint Mark’s Catholic Church, 15724 Montrose Ave., Cleveland, 44111.
