Alfred Zander, age 83 of Middleburg Heights passed away peacefully on Wednesday, April 24, 2024. He was born on May 23, 1940, in Germany to Leokadia and Heinrich. He is preceded in death by his parents and his brother and sister, Helgard and Alice. He is survived by his beloved wife of 58 years, Agnes (nee Evanoff), their three children; Alfred (Kimberly), Jeffrey (Mindy) , and Andrea, eight grandchildren; Rachel, Raquel, Kayleigh, AJ, Jake, Makayla, Tara, and Mallorie, five great-grandchildren; Corbin, Daniel, Abigail, Hunter, and Michae, and his brothers and sister, Eric, Claus, Warner, Gisela, and many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Al loved to be in his backyard doing yard work and cutting grass on his tractor. Al had a passion for raising and racing pigeons. He will be missed very much.
