Daniel J. Doyle, of Bainbridge Township, 52, passed away October 13, 2023, in the arms of his loving wife. He is survived by wife Emily S. Davis; their children: Jackie and Zoë; mother, Barbara Doyle; sister, Cailin (Brandon) Lawton; nieces: Maddy, Maggie and Nora; nephew and Godson, Alec.  He will be missed by his many aunts, uncles, cherished cousins and dear friends. Danny was a much loved and admired older brother to the late Joseph M. Doyle and beloved son to his father, Dan Doyle (deceased).

Raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Danny was a graduate of Nicolet High School and went on to attend Winona State University in Winona, Minnesota, where he was a founding brother of  the Winona chapter of Pi Lambda Phi Fraternity. After working for a few years he moved to Los Angeles, took improvisation classes, eventually earning a spot on a house team at I.O. West, an Improv theater where he met his future wife, Emily.

In 2002, Danny and Emily moved to Ohio to be closer to family, eventually settling in Bainbridge Township. In his mid-forties, Danny decided he wanted to go back to school to find a career in a field where he could help people. He attended Tri-C as a Mandel Scholar, earned an Associates Degree and went on to study Nuclear Medical Technology and begin training as an END (electroneurodiagnostic) Technician.

Danny was famous for his big laugh, great sense of humor, generous spirit and loving nature. He never met a stranger and could talk to anyone. He loved running and finished many 5k races but especially enjoyed the Cleveland St. Patrick’s Day Run. He loved sitting outside by the campfire at night and spending time with friends and family. He loved the Green Bay Packers, watching movies and discussing politics. He was the best, most supportive father and a devoted husband and will be missed forever.

His family would like to thank the Cleveland Clinic Hillcrest Hospital Cancer Center for taking such good care of him.

Family and friends will gather for a Celebration of Life on Saturday November 18, 2023 from 4pm to 8pm at the Centerville Mills Park Dining Hall at 8558 Crackel Road, Chagrin Falls, Ohio 44023.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations to Hospice of the Western Reserve and Dolly Parton’s Imagination Library.
