Edward P. Kuligowski


Edward P. Kuligowski, 81, was ushered into the eternal mercies of Almighty God on Friday, December 3, 2021. Ed was born in Waterford, PA and lived in Edinboro, PA for most of his life, having recently moved to Parma Heights, OH.

Ed graduated from Edinboro High School in 1959. He enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps and served for six years in demolition and heavy equipment, ending his career as an Expert Rifleman and Staff Sergeant. After military service, Ed drilled water wells, installed pumps, raised beef cattle, built houses, drove school bus and retired from General McLane school district in 2001.

Ed is survived by his high-school sweetheart and loving wife of 61 years, Theresa Mae Kuligowski. Ed is also survived by his three children, Monte Kuligowski, Tammy Hughes and Debra Oblak; seven grandchildren, James Oblak, Ana Bonacorso, Adam Oblak, Kimber Bonacorso, Brendan Hughes, Sophia Kuligowski and Jude Kuligowski; and one great-grandchild, Kobe Santiago.

Ed was always there for his family, friends and neighbors, giving his time and remarkable abilities to build and fix just about anything. Ed enjoyed life on his farm in Edinboro, fishing his pond with his grandchildren and traveling with his wife. He will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Join us for a celebration of life at the VFW, Post 740 at 10613 Route 98, Edinboro, PA (Franklin Center) on April 16, 2022 from 1-5 p.m.
