  1. Damon Scott says:

Mrs. Elesta King was a wonderful person and a great neighbor! I have many fond memories from my childhood growing up across the street on Invermere, including the days when Jeannette used to take several of us kids to the CCC summer program downtown, to the time Tracey and I went to prom! Over the years, Mr. and Mrs. King were always there, helping to make the block a great place to grow up. She kept her yard and home beautiful w/ the many flowers she planted…she even was kind enough to take several plants of mine and cared for them for years after I moved away from Ohio. She was a great family friend! Diane, Jeannette, Bobby, Tracey, Danielle, and Crystal, we love you all and will miss your mom/grandma! God Bless….

I have so many good memories of you, Mrs. King, but my favorite is making “chocolate chip cookies” at your house for our “Skating Club”. Those were the “Good ole Days”. I’ll truly miss you, but you will always be in my heart. May the Lord hold both You and my Mom in His arms forever.
