To Jill (and family), I am deeply saddened by your loss. You guys were there in one of our worst moments and I will never forget you guys being there for us then. There is nothing I can say to make things better. I offer you a virtual hug until I can see you in person.

Jimmy Short- what a hoot you always were! Always making others smile & laugh! In fact your laughter was contagious and made those around you join in!
You were a very observant, wise and kind man. You stepped right in & up to the plate, loved Cody & Ashley and raised them as your own. Your affection towards them and the “grandies” always impressed me- you were a gentle giant among us! You always made my sister feel valued, adored, loved & happier than ever. I always appreciated your genuineness and the ways you showed your love to Jill and our family. You will be greatly missed! Enjoy your slice of heaven now, please be a guardian angel! When we hear a similar, unmistakable laugh like yours you can bet we’ll be smiling & thinking about you! “Jolly Jim” love you brother

I will miss being able to “horse around” with you teasing me about BBC’s.; among other things. I also appreciate how loving and kind you have been ESPECIALLY to Jill, her family, Ashley & Cody & their significant others as well as their children, Rodger & Lillian as well as
myself. I will forever be grateful for your patience and allowing me to stay to remain staying at your house during my recuperation from a couple of surgeries I had, shoulder or knee replacements, I think. Thank you for just being you & marrying my youngest daughter! I cannot remember having seen her as happy as she was after becoming your wife. Thank you for making her happy, loved, & well cared for. Love you & will miss you more than you can imagine. You and your Dad can now be together and “have some fun”. Love you, Nancy Born (Mother-in-law).
