Melvin E. Burkett III

Melvin E. Burkett III, age 73 of North Olmsted, Oh 
passed away peacefully Tuesday, July 26, 2022.
He was born August 29, 1948 in Johnstown, Pa to 
Melvin II and Mildred (née Headley). He is survived 
by his wife, Susan (née Stipek); children Micheal, 
Matthew, Melissa, and Nicole; grandchildren Hunter,
Matthew, Savannah, Dominic, Alexis, Vanessa and 
Alyssa; great grandchildren Cameron, Thomas and Niles; 
extended family and friends. He worked at Lakewood 
Hospital for over 25 years. He was a decorated Marine 
who served in Vietnam and a lifetime member of the VFW. 
He will be missed by all.
