William “Bill” Reiff, age 90, born 12/8/1930 in Cleveland, OH to Gertrude (nee Murphy) and Earl Reiff, passed on 12/21/2020 from COVID-19.

Bill is survived by his beloved wife of 64 years Martha “Marty” Reiff (nee Pangrace), daughters Carol (Charney) Reiff and Marlene (Marton) Reiff, son Mark Reiff, brother Robert “Bob” Reiff, and sister Marilyn Alvarez (nee Reiff).  Bill will also be missed by his grandchildren, Steve and Scott Charney, and Andrew “Andy” and Nicole Marton, as well as sons-in-law Mike Charney and Dave Marton and daughters-in-law Kim Reiff (nee Elliott) and granddaughter-in-law Chelsea Charney (nee Koziatek).

A onetime camera buff and horseshoe player, Bill was an Army veteran, having served during the Korean war stationed in Germany, where he learned his profession of surveying.  Bill was an avid crossword puzzler and reader and played pool with his friends every week for over 60 years.  Bill was a Boy Scout troop master for many years and retired to his woodworking hobby of making toys he created to withstand many years of play.  Originally inspired to make toys for his grandsons, he sold trains, trucks and planes at craft shows in the Cleveland area.  He was also a huge Cleveland Indians fan, watching every game during the season.  He is probably still mad at his son for missing game 7 of the 1997 World Series because he was attending his wedding!

Bill remained active even in his later years, still cutting his grass weekly and playing pool with friends at the age of 89!  He will be missed by his family and friends.
